Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26, 1978) was born in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are some of her most notable films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to be a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She currently works as an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project, and is a core member of G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. As part of her role with GI TOC, she focuses on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances and other violence of all forms in relation to illegal economies. Her research interests are in the impact of organized crime on the law, policies and legislation relating with human rights. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She's been a attorney for over four years. She has worked in a firm focused on litigation involving public law. Her previous experience also includes working for non-governmental organizations that have their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
